Suzuki has recently unveiled its new Swift Hybrid 4x4 AllGrip at the stunning Altopiano dei 7 Comuni in Vicenza, Italy, during the 13th gathering of its 4x4 vehicle enthusiasts. This scenic location served as the perfect backdrop for introducing a car designed for adventurous drivers who want to break free from city life and embrace nature—all while maintaining an eco-friendly footprint.

The Suzuki Swift Hybrid 4x4 AllGrip offers a unique proposition in today’s automotive market. It is the only compact hatchback in the B-segment equipped with all-wheel drive, making it an ideal choice for individuals seeking a smaller vehicle that can confidently handle challenging terrains and low-grip surfaces.

Like its two-wheel-drive counterpart, the Swift Hybrid 4x4 AllGrip boasts the same sleek and sporty design with the signature floating roof. However, it stands apart with an increased ground clearance of 25 millimeters and the inclusion of a rear differential for better performance on rough roads. The vehicle has a minimum ground clearance of 140 millimeters and a total height of 1,520 millimeters, slightly taller than the two-wheel-drive version.

Despite these upgrades, the Swift Hybrid 4x4 maintains its spacious interior and 265-liter trunk capacity, providing ample room for passengers and cargo. Suzuki’s decades of expertise in four-wheel-drive technology have been put to excellent use in the Swift Hybrid, utilizing the AllGrip Auto system. This system automatically adjusts traction to all four wheels when necessary, particularly useful in snowy or icy conditions.

The Swift Hybrid 4x4 AllGrip is powered by a 1.2-liter hybrid engine, combined with a 12-volt electric motor that generates 82.8 horsepower and 111 Newton meters of torque. The five-speed manual transmission ensures a smooth and responsive driving experience. This model is offered exclusively in the top trim, with various color options, including the newly introduced Hawaii Green and Oceania Blue.
