Certainly worth painting them black, keeps the colour scheme going. The steering guard looks strong enough for what you need and more and finishes the front end off well. Good choice. 👍🏽😎

Hi Paul, The new side steps look fantastic and I have to agree they look so much better in Black. My only concern is how well the painted checker plate will stand up to muddy boots etc, would you have not been better to given them a coat in Raptor? Love the tee shirt by the way. Look forward to seeing the next video. Keep up the great work.👍😎

The steps do look better in black. How well will the paint hold-up to lots of foot traffic?

Many, many, many years ago, in another life in the Navy, we would wipe-down new aluminum with white vinegar to remove the factory coating that was on the sheets of aluminum. Then we would prep with zinc chromate primer prior to final painting, if the project was being painted for exterior use.

Hi Paul, don't you gone paint the brackets from the shower tent and the awning? black or green? the truck looks amazing.

Black and green colour scheme. All my cars end up that colour with no effort at all.

I hate being 'that guy' but your nylon nuts didn't seem to have many, if any, threads coming out through the nut and nylon locking piece.
