Watch the full movie!

Former collegiate wrestler Scott Voss (Kevin James) is a 42-year-old, apathetic high school teacher. When budget cutbacks threaten to cancel some of the school’s programs and lay off its music teacher (Henry Winkler), Scott creates a scheme to raise money by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter. Everyone thinks Scott is crazy – most of all the school nurse, Bella (Salma Hayek). In his quest, Scott gains something he never expected as he inspires his students and becomes a sensation that rallies the entire school.

You know none of his students are ever gonna give him shit again. And each class will tell the following class. "Dude, don't piss off Mr. Voss. He'll fuckin' end you." Turns out to be the most laid back and supportive teacher they've ever had.

The best part if that scene is finding it afterwards. That Kevin James picked him up like that and put him back down 3 times to show that he could do it. Even thought they used cables to get the shots they wanted. The man is a legit tank.

I never got why this film got ripped so hard, it's actually pretty good.

Yes, not very believable... but still a good watch.

Fun Fact: Kevin James has ACTUAL MMA training and has some seriously powerful kicks

My favorite part about this fight was the start of the third round when Dietrich showed that Scott had earned his respect for keeping going. Especially for a champion like him, it’s probably hard to give people that respect when you knock them out so quickly or they don’t put up a good fight in your eyes.

A man can accomplish great feats of strength and heroism when The Fonz says you are HIS hero

I remember watching this movie for the first time and literally going crazy through the whole thing. The moment Kevin's character won I about exploded off the couch.

Paul Blart Mall Cop came out in 2009 KJ was 44, then Here Comes the Boom in 2012. He completely transformed his body 4 years later when he was pushing 50. Never give up on your health. KJ proves this.

I remember watching this movie for the first time. I was 18 and used to work as an English teacher by that time. I wasn’t really taking the job seriously, but this movie changed my mind.

Bas Ruten shared a hilarious story on the JRE about Kevin James. The moment when he's lifting Dietrich in the armbar for the movie they use pulleys and a crane but before shooting the actual scene Kevin James did it without the help of the props and stunt team. In his words just to show that he could do it without any of that. LEGEND.

I love the look on Dietrich‘s face as Voss is lifting him up. This is such a great movie and kinda underrated imo.
