Recently, I had a conversation with a 17 year old young man who was working at a paint ball park. It was a random conversation and when he found out that I was Catholic, a conversation that he was very much interested in having. Long story short, his family's former Priest liked to invent the Liturgy. The young man found that not cool. Their new Priest put back the altar rails, ad orientium, etc This boy receives kneeling and on the tongue now. He said that his parish is growing. I, of course, mentioned the TLM - which he was instantly curious about. Maybe he will show interest about the TLM to his Priest. His mother is not Catholic but attends Mass with them. He was excited about his Faith.

We have a convent in Savannah, GA of Carmelite Nuns. They are a staple here in GA. I would be heart broken if they left.

Nailed it. Worthy to note that the FSSP has tried to be the last eaten, but now the devil's knocking at their door. Do they dissolve, go NO, or join them whom they adhor (SSPX)? We will soon see. As Our Blessed Lord said, without Me, you can do nothing.

The Sisters of the Carmel of JMJ in Elysburg PA, left a little over a week before Easter (this year) for a newly built Carmel in southern PA. Seemed to be rather sudden. What will become of the Carmel now?
