Meet Bruno Mariani, the former banker, the founder and CEO of Symbiosis Investimentos on a mission to reforest Brazil. 🌳

Bruno Mariani is the founder and CEO of Symbiosis Investimentos, a company that plants native hardwood trees on degraded pastureland in Brazil's Atlantic Forest. The company has reportedly planted more than 2,200 acres and has the ability to produce 500,000 native tree seedlings annually.

Mariana says the purpose of reforesting is to protect the land while also creating jobs, producing valuable native hardwoods, and restoring the forest.

It is our bankingsystem that it is at the root of povertyproblems and that keeps the rich, rich. I hope he will use his knowledge of that system to defy it. This is a really wonderfull initiative, but how to keep in place and meanwhile protect the native tribes?
