I was sceptic of this game but after playing it I love it. Its a shorter, more streamlined than concordia, the end game scoring is much simpler :)
+ awesome ship art and amazing detail about ships.
- Horrible over all graphics design, the icons, the colors, board & card design.
- Horrible paper money :S
- Not color blind friendly
I just wish they had a better graphics for the game over all. Other than that its great.

Rulebook is not great for this game, and a number of other aspects of it (text on cards), graphic design, colour choices etc could have been a lot better. It's a shame, because it gets in the way of a good game and makes it harder to play.
I did help do a spot of editing on a new version of the rulebook - not sure when that will be released.

Is it worth owning both games? I have Concordia and all expansions and really like that game.

This game, ironically, is extremely dry. Rules are not easy. It loses a lot of theme by not having a map. Seriously, look at that cover, and then look at what you get. Very misleading. This is not going to be remembered as one of Gerdt’s better games, certainly nowhere near as good as Navegador or Concordia. In a holiday season of every online store selling out practically everything from Essen 2017, this game was about the only one still in stock.
