I agree with you about the case. I would have thought I wouldn't use it but it's perfect for knowing you've got everything and it's altogether so great for travelling in your vehicle.

I've been using a case for about a decade now. I use a pelican case to carry my coffee stuff with me on vacations and while traveling for work. It carries everything: coffee, milk, sweeteners, aero press, spoons, cups, etc...everything for a great cup of coffee. I had always saved espresso for home. I didn't know they made manual lever espresso machines, my kit is due for a upgrade!

I had one, and I liked it a lot. In the end, the convenience of using my Decent DE1 caused me to second-guess the value of having the Sonic S7 take up valuable kitchen space, so I moved it on. If I didn't have a machine that heats up fully in just a few minutes, then I think the S7 would have been a more practical sulution.
