Bing Crosby - Just a Gigolo (1931)
Показать описание
"Just a Gigolo" was a German language song written in 1929 by Leonello Casucci and Julius Brammer. After becoming a success in Europe, the song was brought to the United States where English lyrics were written by Irving Caesar. This was one of Bing Crosby's earliest solo recordings, recorded on March 2, 1931 (Victor 22701). Other top-selling recordings of "Just a Gigolo" from 1931 include those by the Ted Lewis and Ben Bernie orchestras. A recording by Louis Prima combined the song with "I Ain't Got Nobody"; and a remake of this pairing became a #12 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 for David Lee Roth in 1985. B-side is "Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams (and Dream Your Troubles Away)".
