What is TYMOL?
Thymol is a key ingredient in many of our cleaners. It is a concentrate from the thyme plant and has many medicinal uses, including anti-inflammatory properties. Both thymol and thyme essential oil have long been used in traditional medicine as expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, and antiseptic agents, mainly in the treatment of the upper respiratory system.
We use it because it is EPA-approved, safe for humans, and has little to no side effects, unlike most air fresheners.
