The model you have there is the collection edition! It’s actually available in the blue and the colour you have it in. The roof isn’t a option either on the L1.2.3. The roof is only available on the collection.

It’s a shame they didn’t road map a battery increase as this was its biggest criticisms, as right now it’s a city car or close to it, to improve sales it has to match the new gen range of the vw vag group new gen for the price and with both Hyundai and Kia both announcing there next ten cars they will easily take a big chunk out of the sales forecast of the mini if nothing is done to truly make this a true one car family with zero compromises

All you people complaining about the range, how far do you actually drive a day/week? Also, do you want these to cost as much as a Tesla? Bigger battery packs come at a cost

I just wish it had a 200 + mile range. Hopefully in a few years.

It is such a shame about the range. A cold day on a motorway I guess the range might be 125 miles or less and finding a fast charger (or any charger) and one that works still a lottery then going anywhere more than 50-60 miles and then returning on a single charge is probably its limit.

Was that the collection model, as it had the cloth seats, but looked to have all the extras. Thought the collection was only available in the blue colour.

In its In its category the mini is one of the best to drive, dynamics are good, its a nice place to be. It's expensive though, and it has the smallest battery in its class.
Charging speed is also under par with most of its rivals like Peugeot charging @ 100 KWh with larger batteries,
Its a stylish car but I do not want to my compromise drive without heating set to my requirements because of range.
When they make aCountryman with a 50 KwH battery that charges at 125 KWh I will buy one.

BMW are keeping quite about the recommended charging and degradation, because 80% of 100 miles makes the Mini an even worse proposition.

Why did BMW not install the largest i3 battery pack and give ~180 miles of range?

The previous Mini EV was nicer looking with its yellow components. This looks a bit over-done.

you not say too much about the car; how about adding a real range test, or take it on a trackday?

Needs better range, otherwise it's just an exorbitant "city' car. Also need to get rid of all the union flag designs on rear lights, headrests, seat stitching etc. Have it as options... not every one is a flag-shagger!
