There was a infamous incident in chyna when a sinkhole swallowed a bus and instead of rescuing the passengers they tried to fill the hole with the passengers still in the bus in the hole! That's crazy.

China has been saying it should be exempt from climate rules because it is a developing country. It is interesting to see that China is more affected by global warming than Western countries.

If the same were happening in Russia, everyone talking about it would be jailed for spreading "misinformation"!

The thumbnail looks like the Levolution events in Battlefield 4's China maps. Who knew they were so accurate?

Now this is scary. Rising sea levels are a thing, but this is even worse.

Remember what Mao said... "First we must control nature".

i believe this is same as what happened to JAKARTA but in larger scale ?
meaning, its simply the weight of so many people + skyscrapers + pumping water out from water reserves underneath.
this is happening in my tiny city with only the water extraction.
i live in middle east.
there are always potholes happening

You’d think China would divert some of the money going into its future war preparations towards combating this issue. Otherwise the nation’s biggest advantage (its ludicrous population compared to almost the entire rest of the world) is going to be its downfall practically overnight.
Edit: I appear to have kickstarted an information war in the comments section in regards to West Taiwan.

The optimism at the end is nice.
But given the corruption...

The areas around Phoenix Arizona dropped 6 inches and more because of ground water depletion. In fact, fishers are still opening up in the state.
