Precisely my thoughts Iz. Incredibly sweet in the opening, but the drydown is much nicer when it opens up. Can't say I prefer it over One Shock or the original formulation of Obsession, but it's definitely in my top 5, along with Crave and Truth.

I get no vanilla, all tonka...the crystalized ginger is amazing riding shotgun with the sweet fruit i.e. agave, melon absolutely throws a fizz elementinto the mix...I due pick up a background saltiness/faint aquatic like note that to me steers the sweetness away from sugary or cotton candyish and more of a honeyed i get a good projection of that subtle but persistent brandy pear note right outta the gate and definitely pick up the vetiver and certainly a more pronounced tonka showing up about the three hour mark....3 hours of push is great for ANY fragrance and 8 hours of longevity is better than a lot of niche! Personally Im getting 8+ hrs. before this beauty has run it's course. This is totally awesome in heat and never found it to be cloying! This is a solid fragrance any way you cut it! The presentation is absolutely perfect for the fragrance's name and although the bottle is a fingerprint magnet it feels good in the hand! Nice wide distribution from the atomizer as well.

I had this one and to me personally it's the most solid fragrance from Calvin Klein besides CK Shock. Reveal is a banger and performs well on me.
