It's insane how much similarity we have between Tanzanian and Indian cuisines. I gotta find some Tanzanian food near me!

I drove here today from Cincinnati. It was out of this world but we were the only ones there the entire time we dined!! PLEASE don’t hesitate to go if you are nearby (or even a couple hours like us!). Riziki was wonderful and even gave us some Sambusas for the road. A wonderful spot that deserves much more traffic!! Show her the love she showed us today ❤️ 🇹🇿 🇺🇸❤️

My roommate is from Tanzania and I can attest to the fact that Tanzanian food super good and full of flavor. Also chapati is super easy to make, love having that stuff around fresh

The framed spices is such a cool and beautiful touch to the restaurant.

I feel like so many different countries in Africa are so underrepresented in every category. I'm glad you're showcasing them on your channel!

The idea of foods spreading throughout ancient trade routes is so cool. I never knew about Sambusas, but they are clearly similar to Samosas and yet they are separated by thousands of miles!

Swahili food is soooo underrated. Y’all really don’t know what y’all missing if you haven’t tried it. I’m Kenyan and a chef, this lady putting y’all on fr.

East Indian spice merchants have gone all over the world. You can definitely see the Indian influence in the food and how the locals put their twist on it.

Rob. Your channel is special and I hope you know that. While most food content creators cover tired, overstayed dishes, you're out here bringing awareness to all the cuisines, stories, people you could experience if you explore. Stay curious, my friend. Also, I hope you host a food event or release some sort of food guide in the future.

Finally someone making Tanzanian food that most Tanzanians eat and we are familiar with. People will be posting very unique foods that out of 60+ million Tanzanians only 100 of them eat it and say it's a Tanzanian dish.

The food looks super flavorful but also the chapati seems like Indian chapati and the sambusa is similar to their samosa which is also triangular in shape. That’s culture for you 😄

There’s so much Indian influence, even the names are North Indian dialect names! The more you know 🤯

I was raised and have lived in Columbus for 23 years and you have managed to find and showcase so many beautiful places that I have never tried before. Can't wait to go visit all of them now
