Do not underestimate Jesper, he was a college dropout at the age of seventeen, and to be trusted as Kaz second at the beginning of book one, I’d say he must have been in the Dregs for at least a year or two, which means he probably went to a brand new country for university at the age of fifteen or sixteen. Which means he is really good at languages (probably speaks three fluently) and had good recommendations if he was accepted at Ketterdam University as the son of a farmer, not to forget his incredible social skills.

I thisnk that Nadia should be in the list i know she is a secondary character but she invented a lot of arm in the king of scars but sure they are pretty smarter too
