I saw this at the Toronto International Film Festival. I too thought the trailer made it look confusing, but it isn't. The order is scattered among the different eras, but you get used to the rhythm really quickly. It's like puzzle pieces. Each scene fits into the previous and the one after. The order it's viewed in has immense thought to it. I can say this film sticks with you long after the credits roll. The story is so unbelievably moving and powerful.

This is brilliantly edited, and one of the best trailers I've ever seen. For example, the very end, when Jim Broadbent raises his hands, followed by a shot of that weird man in the woods raising his hands too, is pure awesomeness in terms of editing. The dynamic is great.

I never thought another movie would be the type like Forest Gump, but I was wrong when I watched this teaser. Tom Hanks is the perfect actor. I can say with honor, that I did work as a Asst. location scout on Forest Gump and would have been extremely excited to have worked on this one as well.
