Getting Useful Symbolic Results from Mathematica: FullSimplify[] and Constraints

Sometimes, Mathematica needs a little help to get clean results. We can provide constraints in the FullSimplify[] command that help Mathematica provide an output that is more useful. Our constraints make the result more specific to the problem at hand, so Mathematica need not keep the results overly general.
