Carrie - Menu

Homes all around Denmark create their own unique sense of “hygge” during the long and dark winter months. They do this by lighting candles and crawling under the warm blankets, which is exactly what the Carrie portable lamp is based on. This lamp enables you to bring your lighting with you wherever you go, so that you always have light when you need it.

The design team Norm Architects designed this lovely lamp for the popular Danish brand Menu that specializes in simple and elegant designs, which Carrie is most definitely an example of. The Carrie lamp combines a small, soft ball with a curved, smooth handle through metal and glass, which is also a testimony to the high standards that Menu holds in terms of quality and aesthetics with their designs.

The ball-shaped lampshade has a white surface that ensures a soft, warm, and atmospheric lighting that creates a cozy and wonderful atmosphere wherever you put it. You can charge Carrie through an USB-cable, which gives you about 10 hours of light at its highest setting out of three. Use it as a stationary lamp besides your bed, in your office, onto the terrace, or on a picnic – the options are endless with the unique design that is available in different colors.
