Bmw F30 328i N20 İnjen İntake And GFB Diverter Sound (Flutter)

So excited to get the diverter, already had the intake and I’m already tuned and all, and a bunch of other mods so hopefully it will sound even better!

I have the GFB diverter valve, cold air intake. after the painful install i was ready to be rewarded with the “fluttering” sound. however THERE WAS NO FLUTTER. immediately i thought that i did something wrong and that i would have to tear everything back apart and troubleshoot. So i looked to the “GFB DV+” instructions on the first paragraph labeled “sound” it clearly states “it is NOT designed to make louder or different sounds.” also that “if you hear a loud fluttering sound when lifting off the throttle, that indicates that the valve is NOT opening correctly”

I say all of this to say if you’re not getting the flutter

I got the blow off valve, same air intake but my cone is much bigger, getting the downpipes now and tunning by end of this month ;)

I have the Injen intake that I’ve been rocking for a while and loved the sounds it made like the VROOOOMMMM KTTTSSSS and then as soon as I installed the gfb dv+ the noise stopped and on top of that I don’t even hear a stuutututu flutter from the turbo like this video shows

I have the same set up but I’m not getting the flutter noise 😞. Do you need tune it also after installing the GFB diverter valve or should I be able to do it stock??

The n20 cts bov is the best. Highly recommend checking it out

it sounds better when you don’t put the cover for the housing intake but it will bad for the engine bro

I've got the Injen intake and Gfb+ diverter, dont have the flutter. Could it be the stock oem spring instead of spring that came with gfb+ diverter?

I installed the gfb diverter and I have the injen intake but I think I have a boost leak somewhere. Either my intake or inlet. Trying to fix 🥲

Hey, I'm Brazilian, I have one like it, I wanted to know the configuration to have this flutter, just the intake? I have a downpipe but no intake, it gives a flutter but with a lower sound

I installed the dv+ as my first mod still got no intake and I’m getting no flutter only hear like the boost kicking in is this normal ?
