New Kyosho Inferno Neo Race Spec w/2.4 GHz radio!

The Inferno Neo Race Spec is the most advanced Kyosho ReadySet 1/8-scale buggy ever built. It's from a line of competition racing buggies that have won 8 of the last 10 IFMAR World Championships - the next closest manufacturer has just two! This type of domination is no accident - it's the result of grueling R&D and nearly 50 years of manufacturing experience in the model and R/C segments - more than any other manufacturer in the World.

The Race Spec is built on a chassis that is itself a World Champion, and this machine has a host of new features that can put it in the winners circle at any track. In addition to the World Champion Neo chassis, the Race Spec has the benefit of a new and extremely powerful KE25 rear exhaust engine, a new KT201 2.4 GHz radio system with 15-model memory, a full compliment of performance enhancing anti-roll bars, and big bore shocks with 3.5mm shock shafts, just to name a few.

The new KE25 engine features competition porting that really hauls the mail, making power that will rival that of many competition engines. It also features Kyosho's unique Zero-Loss pullstarter, so once the engine is started, there are no parts of the pullstarter left engaged with the engine, so there's no loss of performance. Rugged ABC construction, a standard rear exhaust outlet, efficient two-piece cooling head, SG crankshaft, precision 2-needle carb, and a competition lightweight aluminum exhaust system are just some of its many features. This is an engine that will run with many of the expensive aftermarket racing engines, and it's included in the box!

The new KT201 2.4 GHz radio features the interference-free operation inherent in the 2.4 GHz technology, it's lightweight and only uses 4-AA alkalines so it's very lightweight, and it features a 4-channel reciever and 15-model memory - to say nothing of its incredible 500+ meter range (in "G" mode).

The car comes completely factory assembled with a painted and trimmed body with the decals applied. All you need to do is add batteries and fuel and you're ready to go.

It's nice to see a company like Kyosho who are aware that many racers may not have the budget to purchase the much more advanced kits that they offer. I have also seen the Truggy version of this at my track and for a much cheaper price (compared to the EVO) as a RTR kit it was really dialed in at the track. Kyosho IMO is the best and one cannot go wrong with this company.

The standard clutch bell is 13 tooth. A 14 and 15 tooth are also available to increase speed if desired.

If you are referring to the video editing, it's mostly Adobe Premiere, but some of the graphics in the videos are created in Illustrator and/or Adobe InDesign and imported into Premiere.

No, it doesn't come with batteries, but it only needs 8 AA-Alkaline batteries - 4 for the radio and 4 for the receiver. Well, two D-cells are also used in the glow ingniter, so you can add those too. Altogether about $10 worth of batteries.

@VickeLang

Additional testing was done on the new radio system and metal gear servos. It'll be out this month for sure.

There are many stores that carry the product. If you're looking online, A Main Hobbies or Absolute Auto carry many Kyosho products and should have these in stock.

@alepotter12einhunder With the stock gearing, it will run about 45 mph. You can change the gearing for about $12 and increase the speed if that's a priority for you. Enjoy!

@TheBerny1996

No, it's not. I double checked the video and it doesn't indicate that anywhere. 4mm is much too thick. It would be a pretty slow buggy if it had to haul around that much weight. ;o)

OK, then that is a mistake. That would be much too thick. I'll have to give them some grief. ;o)
