It’s so weird how DMC feels like they’re trying to get away from the brand association with the original DeLorean, but at the same time the Alpha 5 has a ton of references to the DMC12 like the doors and stuff. They seem confused.

Funny enough the first 30 or to come off the production line we're actually painted. They went to brushed steel because it was cheaper.

To be fair, "needs to be washed a very specific way or you ruin the finish" is MUCH worse than a paint job you can just... have redone.
