One of the things that disgusts me most about our modern culture is that Daryl Palumbo actually felt the need to apologize for this album because it "wasn't inclusive". My god...this entire album was an expression of anger after he had his heart broken by a woman. It was pure, raw anger. Pure emotion. And guess what? That's what music is SUPPOSED TO BE!!! If you start censoring or apologizing for that, then you destroy EVERYTHING that music stands for! Music is not supposed to be crammed into a small, inoffensive box so that it can be consumed by absolutely everyone and not offend a single person. Every type of music isn't for every person. That's why there's different genres for different people. If you don't like something, don't listen to it. The ironic thing is, the people who are now offended by this stuff are the people who USED TO BE AGAINST CENSORSHIP! But that was only when they wanted THEIR words and ideals to be heard in the mainstream. Now that they rule the mainstream, they are using their power to censor and shut down everyone else who disagrees or goes against them even slightly. That is called a dictatorship. We have gotten to a point where artists now feel the need to apologize for their art. What the hell has happened? Daryl Palumbo disgusts me for letting them do this to him. But hey, we should have known the direction he was going in when he started singing for Head Automatica.
