This is a TX-10 take of the "Montgomery Mutt", at City Square, Worcester, Massachusetts. It was for the former Filene's Department Store in the Galleria Days. In the Outlet days, the space was converted to a Media Play (CD/DVD cheap electronics) on the lower level, and a Food Court on the upper level. Currently offices on both levels. CVS is on the other side of the blank walls next to the lift.
I discover something about this contraption: it's TRACTION! I looked up, as I could hear the motor both ways, as the fan wasn't masking the sound as much as it usually does.
The machine room and hoist ropes are hard to see, but are present.

Was the title used in reference to the movie Monster Mutt?
