A diamond solitaire is not boring. It’s classic.

I have a pear shaped diamond engagement ring and my grandmother’s round solitaire engagement ring. Love them both.

I really love the threaded/triple prong style. I think it's still classic and simple with an interesting twist, but there isn't a lot of content on it.

I hope with the influx of lab diamonds, the prices get so low that we can afford many of the styles. My favorite is the round brilliant cut with a hidden halo. If the diamonds got cheap enough I also love ovals and pears and emerald cuts. But the rounds are extra sparkly.

What's trending are actually the large lab stones. 4 and 5 carat rocks with hidden halo and pave bands. So much sparkle that it looks like costume jewelry.

Hey Dominique new subscriber here 😊
I really like the way you present your vids and you are an inspiration to me as this year I have decided to make a life long dream a reality..
I have always liked jewellery and watches and I buy and sell a bit (but often my inner magpie makes me keep the best stuff 😂
Also have a passion for design and want to make jewellery, so thank you for these uploads, they help to know what's going on in the industry ❤

I love unique rings with colored gemstones, so I'm hoping for a ring with a purple centre stone one of these days :) Probably why I like vintage rings as well, because the popular modern styles all look very similar, while vintage rings were ornate and different. Btw, when is the video for wedding band trends coming? Would love to see that.

Kinda wish I knew about the rubber ducky beforehand 😅

I like hidden halo a lot!

My girlfriend is definitely a fan of the halo! I'm thinking it comes back into trend within the next 5-10 years as its a timeless design

Love the vintage design but I think it stinks if your prediction materializes that it will trend in 2024 for one reason. My daughter absolutely hates trends because of the monkey see monkey due mentality so many people have and buy something just because it is trending instead of getting something that actually represents who they are. She never followed trends and loves the vintage look and she will be getting engaged this Valentines day (she doesn't know but her boyfriend told us) and is getting a beautiful vintage inspired engagement ring. LOL I can't imagine her reaction if it does trend. I don't like that two stone look, never did. The halo though (and I mentioned it on your other video as well) I feel is not going anywhere as it has become a classic and I see gen Z wearing them and the jewelry stores I go in have so many in their cabinets and I doubt they would give them much space if they were not selling. Two of my daughter's friends that are already engaged have a halo. Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing what happens in 2024. What shape diamond do you think will be the next trend when the oval is on it's way out. I hear it will be the marquise. Oh, and my daughter's ring is not only a vintage design but also a heart shaped center stone. Vintage mix with unique. She will be doing cartwheels!

I disagree about the solitaire ring. My ring is a classic solitaire. I've worn it for nearly eighteen years, and I still love it. I can't ever imagine getting tired of or bored with it.

I mostly agree about cluster rings, though the photo in the middle is so pretty. I wouldn't mind something like that for my right hand. It turns out that I inherited a ring, that I think can be called a cluster ring from my grandmother. It's not something I would have chosen, but I remember her wearing it all the time. I actually don't mind wearing it myself. (Cluster and vintage.)

I think it’s great to have your individuality shown in your ring choice but you might find yourself tiring of the ring sooner than you imagined if you get too original. A stone cut like a rubber duck? I think the novelty would wear off faster(and need replacing$$)than with a more semi-traditional ring.

I downgraded my engagement ring when I needed to replace the entire setting due to years of pool chemicals. My original ring had 5 graduated channel set diamonds on each side of my center stone in a scrolled cathedral setting, yellow gold with white gold 6 prongs. The shank was chunky 4mm to hold the not tiny side stones. My new ring is 4 prong all rose gold solitaire with curved neck cathedral in a 1.8mm comfort band. Dainty setting that sets off my brilliant cut solitaire. Solitaire rings can be extremely beautiful when the gemstone is allowed to speak on its own.

I feel so old. My engagement ring is 25 years old. I'm vintage now. Who knew?!😂

What about champagne/yellow diamond?? I have a friend that just got engaged with a coloured center stone and then two white diamond on the sides(sorry I don’t know what it called). Similar to Taylor hills ring, Ik that was her inspo! Do you think coloured diamonds are trendy?!just wondering ur thoughts haha🥰

I’m wondering if yellow gold or white gold is more popular for rings in this past couple of years. I’m not sure if I should go 18k gold or platinum as I want to look more current
