Alot of graces earlier fans wanted her to be a pop star like Taylor or one of the other ones out there in pop star land. But Grace will never be a pop star. Grace is an artist like no other. Grace has her own genre. Not one of her songs sound the same. And I don't believe they ever will in the future. Grace will be a huge star. But in her very own image. I love her work and I always will no matter what road she travels. And she's getting more beautiful each day.

The representation of Joan of Arc, the Puritan woman, the early 20th century woman of Glamour and the current day woman represented in your song is proof of this. I can't think of another singer-songwriter who has the ability to touch The Human Condition the way that you do. In this song I hear the pain of women who have been abused and abandoned. Your ability to reach into the deepest part of your soul to touch the hearts, the minds, the souls of people everywhere, through every condition is beyond amazing, there are no words to properly describe your talent. I ran into her once at a restaurant in Savannah, GA…

The waiter was friends w/ her and he overheard me saying “I think that’s Grace?” and he said “Yea it is! She’s chill you can say hi to her… I got you.” So he went over to her assuming he was saying a fan (me) wanted to say hi, and she came over to my table.

I basically told her how much I loved her and her music, and apologized for interrupting her meal and she was like “omg what?! please no, you’re too sweet!” we talked for a bit and took a pic she was so kind and friendly :)

I’ve been a fan of Grace since AGT, way back in my senior high school days. I still remember listening to her songs while studying—they were my comfort when I felt lonely and depressed. Hearing her new song made me cry, reminding me of how time flies and how much adulting has changed my life. I'm so happy to see how she's evolved, both in her voice and genre, yet still, it’s incredible to hear her voice again. It brings back memories of my old self, reminding me to keep moving forward. I’ll be listening to this song on repeat all day today!
