Why are people in movies so unaware that there are cell phones and there is always another flight? Why always the mad, dramatic dash to the airport? Like, the plane’s not going to crash if you don’t manage to get the object of desire off that particular flight. Just text the person, tell them you’re also catching a flight to … Branson and to meet you at the airport. Problem solved! They really need a new plot device. The mad dash, taxi chase to the airport is so overdone.
