Supplemental Instruction aims to help students successfully complete historically difficult classes through peer-assisted study sessions. When you attend an SI session you can expect to find an informal environment where students help each other review notes, predict test questions, discuss readings and develop organizational strategies with the assistance of an SI leader. SI leaders are students who have previously performed well in the course; these leaders attend all the lectures again to take notes and identify difficult material. Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a program operating out of the Office for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment.
