PRICE
Pricing starts from RM368,888 for the Palisade Executive 2.2L Diesel 8-seater, RM378,888 for the Palisade Executive 3.8L Petrol 8-seater, RM389,888 for the Palisade Luxury 2.2L Diesel 7-seater and up to RM399,888 for the Palisade Luxury 3.8L Petrol 7-seater; all prices are for Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road excluding insurance.

SPECS
The facelifted models are available in 8 & 7-seaters, 2.2-litre turbodiesel and a 3.8 litre naturally aspirated petrol V6 engine. Power wise, the 3.8 litre V6 produces 295 PS and 355 Nm of torque; the 2.2 litre turbodiesel makes 200 PS and 440 Nm of torque. Only the diesel variants get the HTRAC AWD.Across all powertrain options, you get to select Comfort, Eco, Sport and Smart drive modes via a rotary switch. The HTRAC version has the additional Snow, Mud and Sand modes.

WHEELS & TYERS
20" alloys wearing 245/50 rubbers. Tyres will cost you about RM1300/piece. Note: It has a full size spare (alloy wheel).

ESTIMATED FUEL CONSUMPTION & RANGE
85.5L fuel tank. Depending on driving style, the diesel could get you 8.14km/liter or 695km on a full tank on a mix of town and highway driving. Owners have reported reaching 800km on mostly highway driving. The petrol variant could get you 7.43km/liter or 635km on a full tank in a mix of town and highway driving. A full tank of diesel could cost you about RM270 (RM3.16 * 85.5l), RM0.39/km in peninsular Malaysia, while a full tank of RON97 could cost you about RM290 (RM3.40 * 85.5l), RM0.46/km. Filling up with RON95 could cost you about RM175 (RM2.05 * 85.5l), RM0.27/km. Fuel price quoted on 5 September, 2024.

INTERIOR - TRIM
Materials are high quality with ample amounts of soft touch materials at touch points. You get a choice of black synthetic leather and cloth interior trim, burgundy Napa leather with cloth interior trim and warm grey Napa leather paired with layered wood interior trim.

DISPLAY & AUDIO
You get a larger 12.3-inch AVN unit which features a split screen functionality, a vehicle setting assist function, as well Bluetooth for up to two devices simultaneously for audio streaming. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto now require a wired connection, compared to the wireless functionality before. The driver gets a 2.6-inch, 800×480 pixel resolution HUD, up from the 1.8-inch, 480×240 pixel unit previously. Unfortunately, the HUD for Malaysia does not include navigation/turn direction arrows like with the international spec. You get to enjoy your music through 6 speakers. FRONT ROW SEATS
Front seats get heating and ventilation, with 12-way adjustment. You also get cushion extension and lumbar support, memory for the driver’s seat, and eight-way power adjustment for the front passenger seat. Seats are firm but comfortable and will be appreciated on long journeys.

STEARING, BUTTONS, CHARGING & STORAGE
Steering wheel is nice and thick. There's loads of physical buttons with good tactile feel. Signal and wiper stalks follow the European convention. There's ample amounts of storage and charging points. The sunroof has a cover so no need any additional tint. Sound insulation is superb.

2nd ROW SEATS
As with the previous model, you get heated and ventilated second-row seats for the 7-seat version, while the second row in the 8-seater gets heating only. Space is abundant.

CARGO/BOOT
1,297 litres with second & third rows folded, 509 litres when not.

3rd ROW SEATS
You can access the 3rd row seats via one-touch release buttons on the second-row seats. You get three ISOFIX mounts, two in the second row and one in the third row.

SAFETY & WARRANTY
In terms of safety, you now get the Multi-Collision Brake System (MCB). (You also get forward collision avoidance assist with detection for vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and junction turning; lane keeping assist, lane following assist, smart cruise control with stop and go, high beam assist, driver attention warning and lead vehicle departure alert, blind spot collision warning, blind spot collision avoidance assist, safe exit assist, rear cross-traffic avoidance assist and forward/reverse distance warning (parking sensors).

As standard you get a two-year, 50,000 km warranty, while the optional extended warranty package that gives a five-year, 300,000 km coverage costs RM11,000 for the petrol variants, and RM12,000 for the diesel variants, which will then also include a three-year service package.
