indonesian military arsenal that shown to the public only less tan half of the entire military arsenal that indonesian military have. many of the unpublished military arsenal that indonesia have are stored inside underground base, or made very similiar to the one that published. around late 2000's someone accidentaly took photo of a hidden submarine that indonesian military have with ID number 012 while sailing a bit far from the shore. take note that indonesian submarine that published only have ID number of 001, 002, 003, 004 and 005. if indonesia have submarine that have ID number of 012, that means indonesia have at least 12 submarine. indonesia also have alot of missile system that disguised as cago box stored in sea port, or disguised as ordinary truck that can moved anywhere. there's also many hidden altillary stored hidden in the jungle that taken care by military personeel disguised as villagers.

we realy don't know how strong indonesia is. but, judging that indonesian military in 60's ranked as 5th strongest military and in 70's and 80's ranked among 10 strongest military that suddenly in late 80's become very weak despite having good and growing economy, it is safe to say that indonesian military contain alot of secret that no one beside the highest elite in the government realy know. another thing that we should consider about this, coming from russian ministry of deffence during indonesia-malaysia cultural conflict of 2007-2012 where the two country almost going to war. russian ministry of deffence stated that since year 2002, indonesia had spend so much money to buy russian made military arsenal, that if indonesia go to war with malaysia only using russian made weapon, indonesia more than capable to defeat malaysia and annexing it's entire teritory in one on one war scenario.

Indonesian here, thanks for the video, but i want to add some information. Let's talk about the downside, while yes Indonesia had improved this couple of decade with its defense capability, but we still use old equipment. We still use 1960's tank such as AMX-13 and PT-76, though some had been upgraded. We also still use a lot of AA Artillery, and we had a shortage of medium to long range AA capabilities.

But in recent years, the armed forces started to ramped up the modernization of such equipment, the purchase of Rafale, Arrowhead class, Scorpene class, and a lot more stuff that i can't mention one by one, is a proof of such maneuvers. And we also aimed to achieved independence in defense industry, and we achieved in some part of it. We no longer import a large number of guns from outside of the country, we can produce our own APC, we can even produce small-medium sized cargo airplane. We can just wait for the next breakthrough in our industry, so we can fulfill the MEF target, or even IF target.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines are main allied partner of TNI since 1949 in important events like military excerise and military bilateral meetings every year

Notable activites between AFP and TNI were:

1.Philindo Maritime Exercise between Philippine and Indonesian Navies
2.Dolphine Exercise with Philippine Army/Marines and Indonesian Army/Marines
3.Series of meetings between two armed forces like courtesy calls
4.Indonesia served as observers of some military excercise outside Philippines/Indonesia such as the recently Balikatan 2024 between the Philippines and the US

The military alliance with the Philippines and Indonesia traced back to pre-colonial and colonial period when Sultanate of Maguindanao allied with the Sultanate of Ternate in the 1600s to resist against Spanish

Today, AFP and TNI are closed together as their defense partnership of two countries and hopefully when Prabowo Subianto become Indonesia's President, the Philippines and Indonesia will continue as allies for more than 75 Years and beyond it's future 😊😊
