Different Types Of Traders In The Order Flow Spotting Absorption Through Imbalances

When aggressive traders are active, it can cause imbalances in the order flow.

This can mean different things. It could simply mean that a large order is making its way through the market.

Or, it could be an indication of absorption, which is when there are passive buyer absorbing the aggressive selling taking place. Or conversely, passive sellers, traders with supply sitting on the offer absorbing the aggressive buying.

When there's absorption taking place, it can lead to prices stabilizing or even reversing course.

So, while an imbalance in the order flow might not always be significant, it's definitely something that's worth paying attention to.
