This video continues with composite shapes and how to find their area by looking at example problems from the Khan Academy exercise linked below.

A composite shape is a shape that is composed of several smaller, basic shapes. Often, these shapes are compositions of rectangles, triangles, squares, circles, etc.

To find the area of these composite shapes, break the shape up into smaller pieces where the area of each piece can be found. Once the area of the smaller division are found, add them together to find the total area.
