Is there a scenario where the Cleveland Browns can trade for Broncos star WR Jerry Jeudy?

The Cleveland Browns need to add another playmaker to their offense.

One year after trading for Amari Cooper from the Dallas Cowboys, the Browns should be in the trade market again.
Each offseason there are seemingly a few names that are unexpectedly available for trade.

General Manager Andrew Berry should be making calls across the league to see what pass catchers he could acquire.
Two names that should be available for trade are Jerry Jeudy and DeAndre Hopkins.

Each of those players would complement Cooper nicely and would help make the offense more dangerous.
First, let’s start with Hopkins.

He is a much better player and has proven that over his 10-year career.

Hopkins has made five pro-bowl teams and was named all-pro three times.
But, acquiring him is a win-now move due to his age (31) and massive contract.

Also, Hopkins has an obvious history with Deshaun Watson, when they played together in Houston.

Watson was at his best throwing to Hopkins, so it might pay to try and pair them again.

As for Jeudy, he will make far less money and could help the Browns spend elsewhere.
But, he does not have the production you look for in a future star player.

He has played three NFL seasons with his best year coming last year.

He caught 67 passes for 972 yards and six touchdowns.

Maybe getting away from the putrid Broncos offense could help Jeudy, but there is still risk involved.

Overall, it will be interesting to see what decisions the Browns decide to make this offseason.

Garrett Bush is dead wrong about Anthony Schwartz being a running back, because running backs are not afraid of being hit, and Anthony Schwartz is afraid of contact.

Newsom is't going anywhere. Jim Schwartz will NOT play him like Joe Woods did. He was a VERY good rookie on the outside. He is fast, and has great fluid hips, like Ward. These are the only two guys we have that can play "Cover 0", and can cover anybody. Emerson CAN NOT. He is slower, and has stiff hips, not fluid. So, If and when Emerson covers a fast receiver, like Chase, he gets Safety help over the top. There are very valid reasons why Newsome is a first round draft pick, and Emerson is a third. The Browns even traded down before drafting Emerson, knowing no one else was going to take him. So, IF Schwartz needs two guys that can be trusted to cover anyone in "Man", Emerson would be the odd man out, AND if one of them had to be traded, it would most likely be Emerson.

Dpj is underrated. I predict a breakout year and big money for him.

If we talking WR I like the idea of D.J Chark from the lion if he test free agency. Young tall and fast WR for around 8-12 Mil

Brandon Cooks, or Paris Campbell. I'm not trading Newsom unless we get at least a 2nd. Work it out.

They need upgrades in the middle of the defense. That last thing they need are more receivers. The 230m man better not need a cast of all pro's to be be decent

No WR want to play for Bluster-Buster-Browns.

Jerry Jeudy isn't that fast, he runs a 4.46 40. Parris Campbell runs a 4.32 40.

Sorry Denver does not need a cast off back up corner. They already have 2 really good corners. Maybe Judy for a 2nd round pick ?

Weeks ago I floated the idea of trading Chubb for Jeudy, and of course I was shouted down. Too many sacred cows on the roster, someone has to go to make cap room for the much needed WR. Chubb is not the same runner in the pistol, he's not a fit in a air raid offense . Now I'm telling you they need to move Emerson. Not in a trade, but to safety. Imagine if you can, Ward, Newsome, Emerson and Delpit all on the field together. With JOK as the joker. Yes please!
