Anybody who has experienced the joy of being wrong knows the feeling of relief that comes with that. It's beautiful.

"The joy of being wrong!" Such a powerful statement.

He wants the truth, not to prove he’s right. That’s awesome.

This is exactly where I am at now. I have studied Baptist history and realized it was full of heresy. This led to despair cause I didn’t know anything else but through more study I have concluded that orthodox Catholicism is the real “old time religion”

As a fallen protestant, and then floating around as a defacto agnostic athiest until I was brought home, I'm so happy I was so wrong, wrong on every level and I'm so overjoyed by that.

Went through that when i baptized my daughter 3 years ago. I was baptized as a Catholic but grew out of it, but not away from God. I watched a video of Fr. Mike giving the video presentation for baptism and long story short, he brought be back to my Catholic faith. The joy of being wrong in this case was a uniquely amazing phenomenon. Thanks Fr. Mike!

Augustine wrote in Confessions, "Correct a wise man and he will love you." I was a Christian for more than forty years before I became Catholic. I was so glad to have been wrong and been corrected.

Dude. The joy of finally realizing the church is right. A place where clarity can be found. It was nice discovering the reliability of the church as a Protestant. What a weight taken off my soul. It is truly a gift from God.

He became the best priest I have ever known. A firm believer in trying to reach the young and old. Praise God for Father Mike.

Amen! I'm a slow learner, took me 40 years to have my moment.

Yes! I remember when this happened to me. I had so many things I thought the church was wrong about. I questioned and researched each one to understand why the church would teach these things. Slowly, one by one I realized I was wrong and the church was right about each of them. I learned to err on the side of the church and obey even when I didn’t understand but to still work hard to come to a place where I understood the position of the church. It’s so cool even Fr. Mike had to have this type of experience.

I rejoice in being wrong too, being brought into truth or correction is like setting a broken bone or straightening a crooked back. Feels a-mazing!

If more people had humility, the joy of being wrong wouldnt be such a foreign concept. I love when my existing thoughts are challenged, becauses it humbles me and also means I can learn even more.
Gotta love how Father Mike put it though 😄 his energy is contagious

There are many times I am happy to be wrong!
Meanwhile, Every single time I have disagreed with the church, as soon as I learn why it teaches what it does, I realize the church is right and I'm wrong.
