Breathtakingly beautiful & somewhat surreal - if you sail it's all about the journey, the rhythm you settle into. Your ship becomes your universe - and suddenly you arrive @ your destination, in this case Antarctica, and are smitten by its beauty.

So many shots of this I had to go back and relive, twice, three times. Such an intense longing.

Man, that's a LOT of sails to look after! Well done. So well done.

I’ve just been sailing on the Christian Radich, now looking at different sails around the world and I long to go back sailing on these beautiful ships - there’s something so magical and so calming being part of the sea on a big rigged sail ship ✨⛵️✨

I just listened to the audiobook Erebus- the story of a ship, that made the first successful Antarctica explorations. The comfort being orders of magnitude higher, I'm adding this travel to my bucket list. :)

Covid 19 has brought the age of jet air travel to a close. Sailing is the way people will travel in the future. We can use the knowledge our ancestors provided for us.

I'm gonna be honest with you here. I've never worked or even been on bark Europa. I have however been trained by one how has worked on it and it truly shakes me the fact that there is not even a mention of the work, effort and dedication provided by the crewmembers on this ship. Basically working 16 hours every day if not more to keep the customers entertained, safe, well fed and so on. It may seem like the people we see in this video are working hard or something but they only really have to work as hard as they want to and half the time they don't even know what they are doing just doing what they are being told and usually poorly. The real work is mostly provided by the extreamly talented crew.
