Very happy gulf gold grower here in northern NSW (sub-tropics). Only have the one tree. Planted my gulf gold in January 2021 and had 5 fruit in the first year! This year it's totally covered in flowers. Expecting a bumper crop if we can dodge the hail storms.

how long should you allow for the root stock to be planted before grafting.

You were promoting a multigrafted plum… how are the growth habits matched?
Typically some varieties are faster than others. Multigrafted should ensure cross pollination IF they bloom at same time or at least overlap.
