Just a quick note to say I went through this process last week with my new laptop and the current version of Eclipse is now called Juno, and the current long term release of Joomla is 2.5. Besides that, these instructions are still relevant, and I even find myself referring to this video to check how I had it set up previously.

@Steven hollander you can create a user name at github and then you can use and download the trunk

I'm also having issues with accessing the trunk. It prompted me for a username and password.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the video however I am stuck at the point of adding the trunk (5.55).
I have already downloaded Joomla 3 and am running xampp (apache and mysql).
When I select the trunk folder I am being asked for a user name and password.
I have tried my Joomla admin password. no access so that is not it.
Your example did not do this so what username and password is it referring to?
Thanks
