Bill Barr Just Ruined Trump's Claims Of Election Fraud
Показать описание
Former Attorney General Bill Barr has admitted that Donald Trump's claims of election fraud were completely BS, and that could actually be bad news for Trump and everyone else facing a defamation lawsuit from the voting companies. Barr's claims, which will appear in a new book, undermine the entire legal cases of people like Sydney Powell and Mike Lindell, and it could end up costing them everything. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening and what it means for Trump.

According to a new book from Jonathan Karl from the Atlantic, former attorney general William Barr knew from the start that Donald Trump's claims of election fraud we're as, as Barr put it, total. That is the phrase that William Barr used in an interview with Jonathan Karl to describe the claims of election fraud. And again, this is a forthcoming book, it should be out very soon. But the important thing to take away from this is that the former attorney general of the United States in an interview that is on the record, admitted that the DOJ never believed for a second, that there was widespread election fraud that would have overturned the 2020 presidential election. So what does that mean? Well, it likely means that Mike Lindell and all of his crazy conspiracy theories just got flushed down the toilet. It likely means that Sidney Powell's defense for her defamation suits just got shot to hell. And it may mean that a few more moderate Trump supporters might actually start embracing reality and stop thinking that the 2020 election was stolen from him.
But the biggest and most important thing of course is, is those defamation lawsuits, right? Because if, and I know I've talked about Mike Lindell a lot, and I'm going to talk about him again, because man, there's something weird about him. But anyway, Lindell is still out there claiming even as he's facing, facing billions of dollars in defamation lawsuits, Lindell is still out there claiming that he has all the evidence and he has all the, you know, cyber forensics done proving that the election was stolen and he's gonna prove it in front of the Supreme Court and the election's going to be overturned. Now he hasn't really addressed the defamation suits against him, but even Bill Barr's like, yeah, that's not a thing, buddy. None of that is real. It's all BS and everybody else at the DOJ agrees with this assessment.
So the more Mike Lindell doubles down on this, the worst the outcome is going to be for him. Sidney Powell is the same way, right? She has gone to court and her lawyers have argued that she was just stating her opinion when she said that the voting machine company somehow changed the votes or that they were hacked or whatever it was, yada yada, she was stating an opinion and said, hey, this is just an idea that needs to be investigated. Well, then she goes out to that rally in Texas a couple of weeks ago and says, these are not opinions. You know, we know for a fact, this happened. Okay, you kind of doubled down on it there and that was stupid because you went against your own defense. But again, none of it matters because Bill Barr's out there saying, we know, we knew none of this was real.
And that's the big important takeaway here, folks. There are lawsuits at stake that could now hinge on Bill Barr's words. And if those courts decide to take Bill Barr at his word, then that's bad news for Mike Lindell. That's bad news for Sidney Powell. And of course it could potentially be bad news for Donald Trump if he ends up getting hit with a defamation lawsuit as well. So far, he has actually been very careful about the way he has talked about election fraud. He hasn't been specific like Lindelll and Powell were. But one slip-up and he could easily find himself on the wrong end of one of those defamation suits as well.
