Today, we take some time to show how we built our automatic water change system for our nano fish. This system will save us about 3 hours per day and allow us to treat with medicine more aggressively. The system we installed was necessary for keeping our nano fish alive and well.

It's about time snails are becomming available. I feel like I've been waiting on Assassins forever. Petco in Hermitage got some shitty ones in. They were dead in the store in no time.

I can't wait to one day build my own aquariums, brace my own floors to support the insane amount of weight, filter system and all all that other fun stuff.

Auto water change systems are a YUGE game changer for any fish room, big or small. My fish room is only 50% automated, but man it makes a big difference, not just with maintenance time, but the health, colors and grow rate of the fish. Nicely done Rob. The 480 shrimp tank looks great BTW. Would look better with zebra plecos...jk 🤣

Wow! Well worth it in the end. I just updated my tanks but that’s nothing compared to your whole system 😂 Thanks for sharing 😁👍

If you don't mind me asking, what's the type and source of the metal racks? And would I be correct in guessing that someone has artfully wrapped wood shelves with industrial-grade black garbage bags? Someday I guess I am going to have to get over my fears and drill some tanks. TIA.

You should do a feature video for purple zebra shrimp! I know there are a lot of people (including me) out there who would love to learn more about such cute little shrimp.

Woah, $500 for a vent pipe is crazy! I have heard that a gas heater is cheaper in the long run than an electric water heater, so that is a plus!

Where did you get the shutoff valve from at 4:56?

Dude it’s been awhile since I’ve seen you upload!!! Not sure if it’s just YouTube or what? But anyway, nice video!! This is a dream. I need a system like this. I’ll keep dreaming until it’s achieved LOL.

Why not a Y instead of a T on the PVC connecting the drains? wouldn't that eliminate chance of contamination?
