Link just the mere fact that she LET you hold her phone and go thru her photos shows you're a great dad. Not that my parents aren't great but if they went through my photos, losing memories would be the least of my worries. To save the sanctity of our relationship, they will NEVER see my photo folder. 😅

As someone who has a Dad that doesn't care that much, I appreciate y'all's unwavering fatherly efforts

5:27 Link basically said he’d rather die than burn the cards his family made for him, I think that qualifies for the “Really Rad Dad” award

just want to say how much I appreciate how Rhett and Link seem to reflect on how they are "doing" as dads, and how their actions affect their kids. It really shows how much they care and love their family and it's really heartwarming. Even if you mess up sometimes or act a little too "dad-ish" - for a kid, knowing that a parent cares that much about you is a priceless feeling <3

It’s so sweet to see how deeply link cares for his kids, regardless of whether photos matter to people in the comments (weird of them to have such an opinion on a strangers connection to her photos but I digress), it mattered to his daughter so it mattered to him, lots of parents miss that component of parenting, if it’s a big deal to ur kid then it’s a big deal period, happy Father’s Day daddios!

I understand that feeling in your stomach when you're anxious and you know youve messed up. Link truly cares for his family despite making mistakes. A lot of fathers only do the later half.

Love the way Link explains how he felt physically when he realized he'd screwed up. Really shows the importance of being aware of that mind-body connection and I believe being able to share that can create more empathy on both sides of an emotional situation.

Hearing the two of you talk, makes me wish that I had an actual loving, caring, present, dad… Thanks for being my pseudo dads and warming this 31-year-old soul 🩷

I've always appreciated how Link tells a story. He manages to captivate the audience until the end. It reminded me of the GMMore "Link's best dad ever! Story". You can listen to it over and over again and it never gets old.

I lost pics twice in my life. 2 months of my student semester abroad (in Turkey) and 2 weeks from my backpacking trip through South America (in which I climbed a volcano in Chile). Devastated. My heart still aches years later.

As someone with bad anxiety and Crohns disease my doctor told me our brain is very connected to our digestive system so when our brain isn’t doing well it can effect our digestive system and if our digestive system isn’t doing well it can effect our brains…

"If we don't finish this journey, we will never get back on the trail" Link was treating cleaning Lily's phone like it was a trip to Mordor

Omg… as a daughter… I haven’t even finished link’s story yet and I’m sweating. I already KNOW my dad would clear my phone completely without even thinking!!!

Link telling this story brought up many memories of my dad epically flubbing a situation and desperately attempting to rectify it. In a few years this story will become a funny family anecdote, and Link is still such a lovely father.

Link almost dadded too close to the sun lol! But seriously, I got so much anxiety during his story! I so much appreciate how much he cares!

Some people are really conflating the fact that taking pictures and miss "living in the moment" is a completely different issue than the value that photos have to people.
Just like how I enjoy sitting with my grandparents to go through an old photo album, I also love to reflect on the moments of my life with my partner through the photos on my phone.
Also, if someone says something is important to them, that's all that really matters. Who are you to judge what people care about

I also wouldn't use a family photo cloud as an 18+ individual. That's recipe for disaster, and also, I want my privacy in general.

I wouldn't be letting my dad anywhere near my photos for other reasons much more scarring to our father-daughter relationship😳

Honestly, they should have an apocalypse-based ear biscuit episode, the way Rhett was talking about it made me heavily interested. Obvi dying laughing because, those letters would make some great tender to keep that fire going lol.
