Primavera is best tool for Project scheduling, monitoring, control and evaluation. Powered by Oracle it provides great flexibility & control over huge data, and no doubt is the best tool to arrange & analyse the cumbersome project data related to time, budget, resources and risks.
Beginners may start by creating
1) EPS (Enterprise Project Structure)
2) Add project to specific EPS
3) Add activities to project
4) Estimate and assign project duration
5) Make automotive setting for Activity ID's
6) Define WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
7) Assign activities to WBS
8) Move activities from different WBS
9) Cut/Copy paste activities
10) Create activity relationships for
a) F-S (Finish to Start
b) S-S (Start to Start
c) F-F (Finish to Finish
d) S-F (Start to Finish
11) Run/Schedule the project (Press F9)
