U r right bro .... Better to get degree, atleast its 3 yrs time bound. U dont waste years and have enough time think. And start earning at 21 age. U make less but its still better than nothing at ages around 29-30-31 if u follow theses attempt course base like upsc, ca, ssc, medical, cs, etc etc.

Honestly the fact that you gave unemployment as the reason for conducting the UPSC exams is utter nonsense, the feudal system in India existed in the 6th CE in Europe and India when the democracy did not even exist, I mean even the TATA group has 10, 28, 000 to run their INR 31.7 trillion business, so does India to run its 3 trillion USD economy. Kindly do your research before giving baseless arguments against the government. I know you have the right to freedom of speech but us as consumers also have the right to correct information. Next, in the competitive exams there are failure like in NEET, JEE, CFA and so many others. Even CA which is a qualifying exam, the students fail by just 2/3 marks. Discouraging good students to not give UPSC will not be good for the future of India, for its bureaucracy.

No problem with seat reservation but in my opinion every category should be allowed to give the exam till age of 37. At least the candidate won't complain about opportunity

upsc is the best exam and best things to challenge ourselves to serve the nation. We have to change the nation corruption and politics is everywhere more or less. We should not think about what we got from our country rather we should think what we have given to our country upsc may be the one way to do this. It doesn't mean that if the government is corrupt and dishonest then we shouldn't care about our country. If you are capable of Cracking a particular exam you should give the attempt. You can say that don't push yourself too much. Having dreams like becoming IAS IPS IFS itself is a very brave decision.
