I’m excited about the 7 series and that new Pixel watch. Can’t believe how much it looks like an Apple Watch. These Google phones are getting closer to being an android equivalent of an iPhone. The 7 series fixed two of my issues with their phones, having face unlock and the brightness not being high enough. Each video I’ve seen of the 7 or 7 pro you can tell it’s way brighter this year and on par with the best phones. I’m surprised more reviews don’t mention it because even in the few outdoor videos I’ve seen the screens look very visible. If I knew for sure all the software bugs were fixed and the call quality was improved I’d get the regular 7.

For me to pick up a smartwatch, I'll need a week's worth of battery life. I don't mean full-blown all sensors on for a week, but at least a dim but legible time piece to glance at occasionally. No way am I going into another charge every day device .
