Ukraine crisis: Russia preparing 'false-flag' operation

The US says it's preparing "massive consequences" if Russia invades eastern Ukraine.

US Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland told Mark Stone that Moscow has "put its saboteurs inside Ukraine" and is preparing a "false-flag" operation to create a pretext to invade.

It comes after a week of US-Russian talks aimed at defusing tensions.
