A random comment on extinguishing flames -- and this falls under the minutia of ritual and all the individual ways practitioners have. I have always felt blowing out a flame blows away the energy, and asserts my power over the element. I tend to thank flames for existing when I extinguish them. Others believe snuffing literally ends the energetic life of the candle. Curious if you have thoughts on a tiny esoteric element of practice. I had the most interesting experience last night as I listened to this. I had it on loop and it was the second time listening to it and I think it was during the invocation of Hekate that I had this sort of dark cloak descend upon me. The way I understood it was like a dark blessing from Hekate herself. I love her dearly, she knows all my struggles, and past. I see her as my patron dark Mother that Goddess Lilith pointed out I should work with.
