This reminds me how Star Trek and Star Wars fandoms couldn't get to agreement what would win between borg cube and death star so they went to Stargate fandom to be arbiter and answer they got was "Death star would win, but only once"

That actually would be interesting, the Death Star takes for ever to power up and the they have no shields to speak of to stop the Borg from beaming over and assimilating from the inside. I feel like it would create a First Contact type scenario where the cube is sacrificed but several drones are teleported to the Death Star.

I remember reading a discussion about this where the solution was that the Death Star would destroy the borg but the data from that destruction would help the rest of the borg become resistant to the Death Star.
