Brownies || The Fae and Witchcraft

Brownies, small, brown, helpful and happy: And I have got them. I wanted to do a quick video to show everyone what I think about the family of brownies that live with me. The Fae (in my opinion) are not really part of witchcraft but more a part of life. They are a product of the earth as much as we are and therefore should be part of everyone’s day. I am lucky enough to have several household fairies living with us. They are without exception, wonderful, funny and charming but mostly, they are magical. They help me with all sorts of things, mostly keeping myself and my family safe, and free from negative influences, and for that I am truly grateful.

Have a nice one helps me find lost objects. Sometimes on top of the bed after remaking it or under a pillow or on my threshold.

My home is a way point for traveling spirits. All types of Fae, Hobbs, and Spirits come here to revive, rest, and then carry on. Lots of them are in and out, but a few stay. My one rule is everyone gets along, and I mean everyone even the dark things that pop in from time to time are treated with respect. I have had some interesting experiences when I've had guest stay over and I have informed them of certain things about the house to do or do not do. An example don't leave any food on are near altars, the spirits will think its theirs. Needless to say someone got the bright idea to leave a bowl of pasta on my Fae altar in my witching room. The next morning I awoke to him shouting and screaming in the guest room. The Fae all thought he was trying to be rude and decided they were going to scare him.. My friend stated he awoke to all of these dark looking figures with strange glowing blue green eyes that chased him about the room, he did not stay much longer.

I think I may have a brownie in my house, but it could also be another entity like a native American little person. I live in washington state in a small town in an apartment. Whatever may or may not be there is friendly and I believe it has helped recover lost items before

My home is a family home that my grandparents had from 2 years old and it’s been passed down and it’s now mine and we’ve not had any break ins or anything awful here, so I knew something must be protecting us and I assumed it was a house elf type thing and earlier I saw a little spark of light and a tiny skinny hand and arm reach out and touch my dog and then I tried googling to find something that looked very similar to the being I saw but couldn’t find anything really, whatever it was as long as it’s here with love and has a good heart it’s very welcome to stay 🥰❤️❤️❤️ my old dog would watch things that I couldn’t see too, always looking at something moving around and now I’m wondering if this sweetheart has lived with us for a long time and I just didn’t realise! 🥰❤️

I have Brownies in my home, I love them so much. They brought me to this video because I know they are here, my cat plays with them and they leave gifts at my steps, but I didn't know the specific name of them. Gratitude for this lovely video! I have put out some honey for them now.

I've also, never heard of anyone else having fae/brownies. I'm in Lincolnshire. I've lived in 10 homes never had this before. Moved here a few years ago. One full moon around 18mths ago, outside doing a ritual, I sensed a fae youth in the garden (1st time ever I was buzzing with joy) and invited him, family, friends to my home, told them its a safe place for them. Left some honey & chicken bones out for them.(my grandmother use to leave chicken bones out for the fae) I don't know why, but, they come & go. They'll stay for a few months, pop off, then return. Maybe, they're living between two homes? They are funny & will often take a trinket with them. I'll be looking for something & can't find it, then when they return, I find it always in plain sight the same place just inside my bedroom entrance! 3 times now lol! I've never thought to ask them their story. They're away at the moment, I'll ask when they come back.

I don't have a brownie here in Florida. I don't feel like like the climate. However I have had fairies visit and a wood sprite that lives in my pine at the entrance of my driveway. He has a childlike face, yet I like to think he is guarding the entrance.

In my home, wich is in Staffordshire, i have lots of nature spirits, i used to have some members of the fey, who lived in my house buy have sadly now moved to another location. I have some sprites who live in my garden and help tend to the plants and keep them healthy, they also watch over them to unsure they do not for during Winter. And then i do also have some brownies aswell. The brownies live in and around my harth, i have suspected that they may also live underneath a chair i have in the corner of my living room. They help to tidy up the house at night (this is tyding up energy obviously), abc i have found they clean up they whole house, but a place they love to clean i have found is the pantry for reasons unknown as if today. Mabye its because food in there goes off and builds up negative energy. But my household nature spirits are very helpfull, I have not communicated with them yet, but you have inspired me too, I would love for you to do a video on how to do that actually. Thank you Ginny metheral.

I don’t necessarily see the gift they gave you with my eyes, but I have definitely sensed something different and special there. I think that’s part of the reason I’m always drawn back to your videos!
Edit: It’s been 2 years and I came back to watch the video again and oh wow, I see it! It’s like a bright halo type thing on top of your head, almost floating. So cool and you’re very lucky.

In Spanish culture the fae are called duendes, many of them live in the wilderness, but some of them live within human dwellings. I guess "bogarts" would be trasgos and trastolillos, which are respectively malicious and mischievous, and they steal or hide your things (like if you can't find your keys when you know where you put them), or spoil your food, or generally mess things up in the house.

I wonder if this is why we call
Brownies as in
Brownie Packs Brownies
They are elves and fairies etc snd have a toadstool
They are encouraged yo learn various helpful tasks🤔

I got a Bogit at the moment, long story, but always had brownies in my homes. I communicated with the fae all the time. I miss Devon and Dorset where I am from because the fae there are the best

It's wonderful to know individuals, such as yourself, that allow your minds to be fully unlocked, which allow these beings to reveal themselves. Blessings Ginny 💗✨

how incredible! we Native Americans have our own Indigenous version of Brownies here, only simply called the "Little People"; who have a broad range of hobbies and games from animal husbandry and aiding in chores to playful tricks and such clever pranks lol quite an interesting bunch who have been with us since we have been singing songs and telling our own folk tales. very informative video, thanks for the share!

Love this and all that you share! Would love for your family of brownies to share more about their kind in general if they are so inclined. So thankful they allowed you to share what they did!!

We have them in Danmark to we call them Nisser. They live and help on the farmes. If you don't feed them, they will make your lifestock ill and die.
Today they are mostly used around christmas time, where we decorate with small Nisse dolls. 🎄🤗

I know where I currently live I do not have Brownies. Way to much negative energy in my house - they would either love it for all the cleaning or just be to terrified to come here. I first heard the story or the tale of the brownies when I was in Brownies as a kid (I live in Canada, and the second age group of Girl Guides in Canada and the US is called Brownies because of there helpful nature (Youngest age group is sparks but since I was never in it I never got to learn the story of why they were called Sparks)) but after hearing the story fell in love with them. I'm positive I had one in my room when I was a kid. As my room always helped me to bring my spirits back up after a rough day. My room itself was always messy, I sucked as a kid at keeping it clean but always felt comfortable. I never met it or talk to it just my room was always extra comfortable and I new knew why. When I went off to college, and my step sister took over my room I'm assuming that is either when it left or maybe it stayed to help her, I'm not sure; never really brought it up to her.
Thank you for this video. I have been thinking alot lately now that my own daughter is in Brownies and I was trying to explain to her what they are and having a hard time finding info on the internet (Shockingly when you type in Brownies all you get is food recipes hahahah). I look forward to watching this video with her so maybe she will fall in love with them as much as I do.
