CARAMEL CUSTARD/CREAMY CARAMEL FLAN/SPANISH FLAN/FLAN

Flan is a traditional Spanish dessert which is an easy process just required 4 ingredients. Flan is simple, yet creamy and smooth. The consistency of it is like pudding or jelly or custard. Served warm or chilled.

Ingredients
1cup- Sugar
3 tbsp.- Water
4 large- Eggs
1 Can (14 ounce)- Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 Can (12 ounce)- Evaporated Milk
1 tbsp.- Vanilla essence

Directions-
• Preheated the oven to 350 F. Arrange the glass baking dish into another deep baking dish.
• Take a saucepan, dissolve the sugar in the water and simmer it until it turns golden brown/ caramel.
• Once you have reached the desired color immediately pour the hot caramel into the bottom of the glass baking dish.
• Quickly and carefully swill the glass dish so that caramel coat evenly. Keep aside to get the caramel at room temperature.
For Custard
• Take a mixer grinder to add condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla essence, eggs put the lid on and mix them.
• Pour the custard onto the caramel glass baking dish and cover it with aluminum foil.
• Pour the hot water into another deep baking dish until it comes 1/3 of the way upside of the glass baking dish.
• Bake the custard in preheated oven for 60 minutes on 350 F.
• The custard still jiggles slightly but it will set firm once it gets completely cool down. Let it set in the refrigerate overnight.
• Before serve, run a knife around the edge of the glass dish. Quickly invert the custard onto a serving plate.
