Oh i am so relieved to learn this really is a Husky thing, lol! I'll often end up having to make a whole event out of it. So I'll put some of his food rolled into a t-shirt & tied in a knot, then in empty cereal box, water bottle & whatever else all laid out for him to make a game of it. He goes from one to the other "finding" his food, lol.
I swear in their minds they are on a mission in the wilderness at all times & kibble in a bowl is just lame to them, like zero fun!😄

We bought VERY expensive food for our pup and he was not interested at all. He was abused and rescued. At 13 he gets eggs every morning from my wife which he happily consumes!!!
