Mansa, I am glad you said don't squeeze islands into small spaces. I am more glad that Willis echoed the same sentiment. I am sure you are familiar with my comments by now on islands. I have been giving Willis a hard time on the subject matter. He oftentimes comes across as if islands are a must have in every kitchen.

I'd add tall plants at the foyer, a table like statue, and a mirror with a plant or feature wall next to it at the guest powder room. Could be stone or wallpaper. It would bring life to the house or maybe outside greenery into the house.
