The Strange Case of the Glowing Brown Dwarf and Its Moon

In this video, you will learn about one of the most amazing discoveries made by NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope: a brown dwarf that glows like a neon sign. A brown dwarf is an object more massive than Jupiter but smaller than a star. It does not have enough mass to start nuclear fusion in its core, so it does not shine like a star. But this brown dwarf, called W1935, showed a surprising infrared emission from methane that resembles an aurora, a phenomenon usually seen on Earth and other planets with magnetic fields and atmospheres. But W1935 has no star to orbit, so what is the source of its glow? This is a mystery that puzzles the astronomers who discovered it. Watch this video to find out what are the possible explanations for this emission and what it means for our understanding of the universe.

A 'brown dwarf" is indeed a sun/ star... and if a moon is reflecting light on it, which light? ...back to it being a star/ sun... simple...

Its funny that we're 90% sure its a real exomoon causing the aurora, yet its too far away to directly observe and confirm.

It produces its oun ionized particles. Then its megnetosphere sucks the particles toward the poles.

You don't need to be jumping to hypotheses at this stage. Just observe and enjoy.

Alpha Jupiter has no sun required. Graviton charged photon.

W1935 sounds like someone's wifi password. Perhaps the person that named it lmao.

Light dimension enlightens space constellation constellars and refrects light back to earth. If at a snowy location the snow will refrects that light back up to the sky giving of that aurora beautiful light show.

Is amazing the only word in your vocabulary to describe something - its overuse has made amazing almost of no meaning at all.

So.... How far is it away ? And are there 4 planets orbiting it ?
