Graveyard Guy, I like your demeanor, calm and very polite and gives a great tour of cemeteries where people who entertained us are now at peace and rest. Keep up the great work!

Colma has more dead bodies than live residents. Bonnie and Clyde have had their headstones stolen many times down in Texas. In all his years as a marshall Wyatt was never injured by gunfire. Colma also has a cemetary dedicated to circus performers. It is a very interesting place. I was fortunate to have seen Wyatt's first headstome.

Again I did some research on Earp's grave and secret burial. His wife secretly buried him in the family plot after his death. The location of his urn was kept secret for many years. Josie's family was quite religious. After her death it was made known years later that Earp was buried beside her. Josie was smart lady. She wanted to be buried with him so she buried him secretly. Hugh O'Brien offered a reward for the return of one of the stolen gravestones. Kevin Costner offered to pay for the last replacement gravestones. Josie's family declined the offer and put the last one in place. If the cemetery is Orthodox all occupants must be Jewish. Some Jewish cemeteries affiliated with the Reformed Temples allow non Jewish mates to be buried with their Jewish spouses. Suzanne Pleshette - Jewish - and husband Tom Poston - non Jewish - are buried together in a Reformed cemetery.

Hi Steve, i ended up on your YT channel after watching the 1994 Wyatt Earp movie. The movie touched me. I live in the Netherlands Europe, so it is great to see and learn some of the U.S. history. Funny how much we in Europe, learn and know about the U.S.A. because of all the movies. regards, Jan.

Fantastic vlog
One day about 10 years ago i was paying my respect to a close family friend who happens to be an NFL legend at Riverview cemetery in Portland and ironically stumbled upon Virgil Earp's gravestone. I had no idea he was laid to rest in Oregon.
Virgil Earp Lyle Alzado and Henry Weinhard are all within feet of one another.

I have seen pictures of his headstone, but it was so much more personal watching the video. Plus the history of the headstone being stolen so many times was an added treat. Like always, thanks for the video and the history lesson. Keep on making those wonderful videos and looking forward to seeing your next one! Have a great evening, my friend!
